Mobil laid off 10% of its people here yesterday. When Exxon takes over in a few months, lots more will lose their jobs. It seems like a lot of companies are going to consolidate in Houston. I might end up there myself. I have a couple of oil service companies in my IRA. I hedge by selling covered calls when I think they're hitting a short term peak Then I buy them back on lows or just let them expire.
