Cameron... Not being a drive expert, I have a feeling the 120/1.44 drive probably has constraints as to doubling its capacity (240) while still being able to Read/Write to 1.44's. If this is the case Hifd would have the same problem. I think the superfloppy consortium had planned to become the standard and then remove the 1.44 capabilities thus reducing costs and increasing the profit margin at that time. Surly they had to know the 1.44 had a limited life span. BB ^-^- P.S... Am I the only one who think we could live with just one thread due to the low volume of posts ?
