I just completed a three-month assignment in Basel, Switzerland working for Novartis. Rumors abound they are in the market for a major acquisition and not a merger. IMO, Novartis is seeking a company with outstanding R&D and I think that Roche doesn't fulfill their needs. Plus there are several strong personalities within both organizations. Even today there is a division between the Sandoz people and the Ciba people. Look for them to pursue companies such as AMGN, BGEN, CHIR (which they already own approx. 49%) and alike....
Sorry AGPH loyal shareholders, I don't think that Novartis would purchase AGPH. The odds on that happening are about the same as people waking-up one day and saying "Hey! those Internet stocks aren't worth all that $$$$$$$$$$$$$"

Agreed 100%. I still own 20 shares after the last litigation and I'm holding onto them for two reasons:
1) In the event I run out of newspaper when starting my next fire, they would be handy.
2) It's a "PAINFUL" reminder to one who didn't do their homework.
