Some of you may remember Petro Plus which made a dramatic run higher last
year and then fell almost as quickly. The man behind PPV at the time is a
guy named Urban Casavant who is a nice guy but definately a promoter. He is
no longer at PPV but we have heard that he may be doing the promotional work
for Claimstaker (CLN on Vancouver). It is likely he will only lurk in the
shadows on this deal as a lot of people don't like what he did with PPV. No
matter what you may think, the simple fact is he has the contacts to get a
stock going. Claimstaker announced that they were in the final negotiations
for a Ghana property near Hixon and Golden Rule. We'll see what happens
going forward but I advise that everyone consider this more of a speculation
than an investment. Casavant is in the business of selling paper to the
small investor and little else.
