Hi abc, I keep BPD bookmarked but the originator doesn't seem to have made any posts at all since Mar. 31/98 The latest news is pasted below, perhaps there will be some action this year. Can always hope!!!

- Comprehensive Geological & Evaluation Report Completed
Robert Beaupre, President of Beau Pre Explorations Ltd. is pleased to announce, that Burgoyne Geological Inc. of Sidney, BC has completed a comprehensive geological exploration evaluation report on its large Valentine Mountain Gold Property located about 43 kilometers west of Victoria, BC.
This study has evaluated, reinterpreted, prioritized and defined gold exploration over a +7 kilometer strike length known as the "Corridor" of gold mineralization that extends from Valentine Creek in the east to Braiteach Zone west of the Jordan River. A total of eight exploration targets have been defined. These exploration targets and defined gold prospects are aligned along a major regional linear called the "Discovery" linear that is expressed as a prominent magnetic linear, faulting and topographic alignment.
There are several styles of gold mineralization known on the property. The exploration potential is for a combination of fault hosted gold-bearing quartz-vein stockwork and breccias and possible disseminated gold mineralization associated with felsic intrusives, amphibolite and metapelite. Cross-structures, as defined from geological mapping and ground magnetics where they intersect the regional "Discovery" linear, are considered to be important structural controls for possible mesothermal gold mineralization.
A comprehensive follow up Phase 1 ground exploration program consisting of geological mapping, prospecting and rock sampling, grid - line preparation, limited soil sampling, induced polarization, and resistivity surveys, magnetometer surveys and 2550 meters of diamond drilling is recommended at a cost of $800,000.
In conjunction with compilation of the evaluation report, 600 meters of drilling is being completed on 3 - 4 priority targets.
Drill hole 99-01 has been completed during December 1998 on the Discovery Footwall Zone. This drill hole oriented at a 360 degree azimuth and -47 degree dip, was completed to a depth of 306.1 meters; it was designed to test a lithogeochemical gold anomaly contained within a wide zone of amphibolite and metapelite that is defined by a large ground magnetic low and east-west faulting. This drill target is located to the nth and west and on the footwall wide of previous drilled (1980's) gold-bearing quartz mineralization of the Discovery Gold Zone.
Neill's Mining of Victoria, BC completed the drilling. Currently, analytical results are being compiled and evaluated. Further diamond drilling on the BN gold zone, located some three kilometers west of the Discovery Footwall Zone, is planned during late January 1999.
In closing it should be noted that previous diamond drilling to depth has intersected fine grain gold in propylitic altered metasediments at the contact with amphibolite, and that many drill holes returned intersections varying from 5 to 55 meters containing 15 to 200 ppb gold within metasandstone and biotite schist.
