The following is a response to my inquiry to ADI. FROM Sheryl Ann De Spain sads@adi.net The functional verification of the Apogee d2 chip is ongoing. Functional verification is a stair-step type process used to build an overall picture of functionality of the product. Because no one result of a test on one component within the chip points to what overall outcome will be,the Company will wait until the completion of functional verification tests to announce the outcome. Basically a bunch of B.S. I have heard from very reliable source that that the oem's do NOT have chips yet. The testing is held up waiting on equipment etc. I would be glad to e-mail whole response if you send me your e-mail address at glcat@yahoo.com
