I was wrong. I've faced a similar situation before and what actually happens is that the options get converted to a special issue where both the strike and the number of contracts remain unchanged, but each contracts entitles you to only 0.65 of TDFX contracts. These special options will not continue and when the last one expires they are gone forever.
