Now what did I say? I said, In a court of law, that would be called perjury..

Now what is a deposition? A deposition is a written record of "facts" taken prior to going to trial (during discovery). Now if what you say in court under oath contradicts what's been deposed, then that is perjury.

Now these words here are a written record, and many cases of libel are coming to court regarding disparaging and libelous statements made about companies on threads.

The thread messages are being used as evidence in court. Not "literally" depositions..but depositions in nature none the less.

Contradictory statements to those made on threads weaken one's arguments in court, and if they are denied after being proven to be those of the poster, that is perjury.
