Ish, Barr is strongly pro-life. And he is one of the guys (imo) that passively "promotes" violence among his nutcase constituency towards doctors that perform abortions... notice his objections to the antiterrorism bill (2nd article below). Why would a tough-on-crime right wing guy oppose a terrorism bill you ask? Because the anti-abortion terrorists could get prosecuted in the same manner as any other terrorist, thats why. "This is a sad day for our country. This decision is wrong and we in Congress should continue doing everything in our power to enact a ban on partial-birth abortion at the federal level," Barr concluded. ...He is a member of the pro-life caucus.
