I figured on booting from the IDE version of Zip. But in one message on this board, someone said that the IDE Zip can only be a slave, not a master. This would eliminate the ability to boot from it.

I cannot imagine why Iomega would do that. If they did, perhaps they well change it. I need to verify if that is true.
