No idea specifically, but in general it's probably going to help us get back to and beyond the old highs... Consolidation of this sort should give a nice boost to the currently booming STD bottom line, and according to news reports, you'll get 3 shares of BSCH for every STD share you currently have.

Looks like between the Brazil float of the real, and the merger, the market took it pretty favorably... up 3 for the day in a very shortened trading day.... just wait till Monday and the Spanish markets get a chance to trade these stocks. We could be at $25 by February easy.

It also looks like STD will have the lion's share of control, with the BCH chairman sharing power until 2002, when he will retire and Botin becomes the sole chairman. That tells me Botin will be running the show, and the other guy will attend ribbon cutting/baby kissing photo ops.

All-in-all this is incredibly good news.
