TRADER J: ETrade called me today. I got my two questions answered and then I proceeded to tell her that ETrade was awful and why. It used to be good but since they went to the big program in September, they are awful. I could hear the beeper recording what I said so I was careful but I got it off my chest. The best things I said were "they had the unmitigated gall to run ads for more customers when they couldn't service the ones they had, they should extend their phone hours back to midnite EST, and they shouldn't let non-customers in to get quotes during market hours and waste the bandwidth." And while she was at it she could call my sister, also an ETrade customer, as my sister was madder than I was. The rep took my sister's number. We'll see.

She had tried to get me for three days, and four times today only to be met with a busy signal. I am getting a dedicated line for the internet next week. Ordered it Tuesday. Glad I did. We received a letter today from one of our children who lives 1000 miles away complaining that she couldn't get through to us for several days.

Well, this will be a nice weekend for me now because I won't have to think about ETrade. I've got that account all in cash now so I can move it to Fidelity hopefully by wire transfer.
