Egan estimates Golden would fetch about $350 million in a sale, assuming the acquirer included the face value of the company's $300 million in debt. 27.9 million shares outstanding would put the sale price at $12.50 per share! I can't believe the float turned over 16x in the past two days. The MM's must be selling short to almost everyone and hoping/praying that the Disney story is just a fairy tale. This could become the biggest short squeeze in history! It ain't going to happen but if everyone called their shares in certificate form.....look out!
