WAYNE, Pa., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Infonautics, Inc. (Nasdaq: INFO), and Hankook Compugraphy Co., Ltd., today announced an exclusive marketing and localization agreement for the Korean version of Infonautics' ELECTRIC LIBRARY(R) service in the South Korean marketplace. ELECTRIC LIBRARY KOREA will contain global, full-text content and award-winning features from Infonautics' existing Electric Library service as well as new Korean content, localized functionality and features specifically directed towards the Korean user.
Hankook Compugraphy, a leading developer of Korean fonts and information technology products for the publishing Industry, and a subsidiary of one of Korea's largest newspaper and publishing companies, The Hankook Ilbo and Seoul Economic Daily Group, will work with Infonautics to localize and exclusively market ELECTRIC LIBRARY KOREA to consumers, schools, libraries and businesses. ELECTRIC LIBRARY KOREA with English content is expected to launch during the first quarter of 1999, and is expected to be upgraded with Hangul language content and search functionality, and Korean Won currency transactions for direct online subscriptions in the latter half of 1999.
