Mr. Michel Routhier reports
Michal Inc. of Montreal, Quebec purchased, on Jan. 14, 1999, 10,000 shares
of NHC Communications. The purchases were made through the Toronto Stock
Exchange at market price. Immediately following the purchases, Michal
exercised control over 1,275,000 shares of NHC or 10.1 per cent of the
issued and outstanding shares of NHC.
Michal Inc. is a private investment holding company. The shares of NHC held
by Michal were purchased for investment purposes. Additional purchases may
be made from time to time in the normal course of Michal's investment
operations but Michal does not intend to make a takeover bid for NHC.
