This Iran Contra comparison just cracks me up. Iran Contra was at root a partisan policy dispute between the congress and the executive. What we have now is a little man breaking his oath of office by trying to hide his pathetic little acts from a court of law. Except for Ollie North's fence, no one at that time was doing anything for personal gain. This is all about covering one man's ass. Iran Contra was a threat to our democracy, but felonious behavior on the part of the chief executive doesn't rise to the level of impeachment. The whole thing just makes me want to puke.
