(puff, puff) Two things, Warren: One, is the picture in PNLK's brochure REALLY their EDP room?
Two, I don't agree with the reasoning behind PNLK's "strategy" to "...jump waay ahead of any possible future competition..." at the expense of developing a pioneering product NOW. Market pioneers create markets and develop demand. Eventual second entrants who copy the original are EXPECTED. Market pioneers get better ROI and better brand recognition. Pioneers, always win BUT they need a product first.
At the risk of sounding glib, doesn't PNLK already have product? Don't you think that any potential competitors of PNLK are already copying their service and making improvements? I mean, isn't PNLK already on the road getting business?
IMO, I simply don't buy this reasoning at all. They have already pulled the trigger here. They raised cash and they are making product. Yes, they are making improvements, but I can't beleive they are doing it in a vaccuum!
So you can better understand where I am coming from, I found a presentation based in part on, market pioneers. The link below will open up to slide presentation.
This is a serious strategy that has serious pitfalls. Just remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. IMO, I simply think that PNLK dusted you off, Warren, by giving you this line.
