Another thing that I don't understand:

If the Russian situation was so bad for banks, why is it not even more so with Brazil? They have much more exposer to Brazil than Russia. The commentaries said that last fall when the IMF started to bail out Brazil and the Russian rubble was going down the drain, but now they say it is not bad. Banking stocks were up around 3.5% today.

Sitting here scratching my head.

PS Maybe I should just go to the dark side and "invest" in YHOO, AMZN, and EBAY. They won't go down, will they? :-P
