Alexa, The reason you had relatively civil debates in law school was that it was not anonymous but more personal (face to face). Joe, on the other thread, is like an anonymous poster who doesn't have to bear the price of any of his comments with his reputation. In real life, I don't see flesh & blood Joe making those kind of comments to a lady. I totally agree that some adults have their minds made up on certain issues (e.g. abortion). -Bill
