While many today are debating the issues of cloning and abortion and the creation of life and mutation of life, I resolved those issues in my mind more than 2 decades ago.

The question I am exploring is: when we create the first thinking machines will we treat them as slaves or respect them when they, too, claim the intrinsic rights of a human? I predict this will be upon us in less than a quarter of a century.
