HELLO EVERYONE...
IT CERTAINLY HAS BEEN A ROUGH DAY OR TWO..
Let me say, as none of us know what really has gone on behind the scenes, we can only speculate. Period. None of us will probably ever know. And I don't want to speculate or guess. But I do know trashing each other isn't going to help at all. NEVER HAS, NEVER DID, NEVER WILL. Ok, so we find out this happened in the 60's. I lived in the 60's and 70's!!! (OOPS, never mind, I take that back I was too young!!!LOL)...If I was caught doing half the things I did during that time, I'd have experienced, what some of you would like to term "mucho difficulties"...First, I'd probably have to see if I could remember half of them...But that's over..What happened to me??? I became one boisterous, stand up and be counted, ENGINEER!! I just paid my price other ways...
So, to make a point, it is not just the music world where things happen behind the scenes, it also encompasses Big Corporate America, including the very Stock Market in which we have placed our hard earned dollars in. Guess who made $$ writing the book! Look a little higher up..Anyone every here of Clinton out there!! I don't think anyone has a total clean slate. Either that or they have been able to 1) "buy" the eraser to clean it up; 2) had no idea they did it; or 3) paid their price, or let out a sigh of relief when they didn't get caught, and fixed it!!!
We may never know what has taken place. So be it. So, as others like myself have stated, it is time to focus back on the company, and what will be happening in the future. I'd love to see no more slamming, but I will probably be voted down on that. I do not want to take any sides, but if you have something that is substantial, I will certainly welcome it, both positive and negative. But it must be pertinent to what is going on with the company today, and backed up with real "up to date" "on-going" facts that are directly related to the co., and its growth and future. We all have a past. Some better than others, but no one exists without one, or you do not exist!!
SO TO RE-SUMMARIZE:
1: Yes, a dispute which has definitely occurred. But, we needed to know if there are changes going on..now we know. Done!
2: Not having anything to do with the dispute, is the fact that there will soon be someone to answer questions and take calls, which will help communication.
3: We have learned that the record labels are real and in business.
4: We have recieved a very good news release.
5: We are awaiting news that CDmusic will open their site when they are ready, and due to conflicting reports, I will not venture to say when, just that it will be in the first quarter of 99.
6: We know the co. has been seen on "Mindspring"
7: We know they can be pulled up on Amazon and the record label/artists showing..
8: We are awaiting more news that more than one person posted about, but I have no concrete news about that to give you, and can only say at this point it is a rumor until substantiated as to what it is.
9: Not to sweep things under the rug, we know 30-some odd years ago, there was a problem out there with Craig, but has been dealt with, and as it seems people are looking for more, and have not posted more, until anyting else shows up, I would assume no one out there knows of anything recent, or we would have heard.
But if anyone has anything else current, it will be checked out also.
To summarize, I still hold my shares. And anything that needs to be checked out, both a detriment or attribute, then by all means please feel free. I think at this point, though, it would behoove us all, if you include where the "facts" are coming from so that one of us can check it....The more we clear the air, the better off all the investors will be. And we definitely need to focus on the company again.
I am sorry any of this took place, and wish it did not happen, and wish it had not been brought on this board. But it did, and I will remain focused on what the company can do, and what I believe can be the future and growth of the company, until I hear otherwise. If there comes a time that I believe that things cannot be achieved, then I will no longer be a shareholder, plain and simple, and I will let you know. But I sit here still with all the stock that I have bought. I am not saying I have all the answers, no one does. I just think, despite all the turmoil these past few days, we will be ok, and come out of it.
