Women have been reading their guilty husbands' minds for hundreds of thousands of years. What do you suppose first set men a-digging for brilliantly colored but totally useless gems, and trapping mink which could not be eaten (contaminated by civet and feces that they rub on temselves to make them disgusting to other predators. What do you suppose unerringly allows a teacher to call on those who have no homework. Other exsmples are many. There's nothing new here.
