Do you hold on to all your outdated image files such that you need
to see the complete sequence?

I am mixing concepts again. I CANNOT lose a work file so I watch them like a hawk. I started seeing some parallels and recalled how much easier my life became when I switched to a numeric sequence. It is a no brainer concept..next number in sequence, log the content, no exceptions, no more thinking.

I do not keep all of my Drive Images. I would if I could but harddrives and removable media are tiny compared to what would be necessary.

I do keep a varied history of Drive Image files. When did that little problem creep in? Do you have a sleeping virus that shows up months later? Has the registry been growing and is now out of control? How far back do you have to go to get a clean install?
