I dumped my ABTX stock immediately after the story hit the newswires. While I fully agree with JT that the suit has no merit, I also believe that many ABTX shareholders won't find out about this until the weekend. I expect heavy selling next week and a few more law firms filing similar suits.

It's a pattern that I've seen all too often. It's disgusting, but it's also an everyday possibility in today's market. A couple of disgruntled shareholders, who don't know how to time their entry into a stock, get pissed off when they buy at the top and the stock falls. Unfortunately, the regulations allow too many of these suits to be filed and it's almost always the company who ends up suffering, regardless of the merit of these suits.

I will be buying back my stock, I have no doubts. I have a very substantial gain that I won't let the scum-suckers take away from me. My only gamble is that I won't own the stock when a merger/equity stake is announced. That's a calculated risk I feel I must take. I truly expect to buy this stock at a substantially lower price then where we were yesterday.
