William B.--A COPY OF YOUR POST NOW STANDS alongside my trading station. I converted my dining room into a trading station. Thanks for helping us all "catch up". Your "simple" advice of focus and concenration, and that thing called guts is more important than many understand. I probably shoudn't say it in my own behalf, but in a room of 25 traders, no one could understand why I always came out of crashes in the price, and was able to sleep peacefully etc. with huge margin positions. I usually go into the largest margin positions, when there are the largest number of catastrophic events all happening at the same time. The owner of the day trading room requested that I close my account and leave, because I was making too much money holding these "crazy" positions. He told me that I was really hurting his business, and distracting others from what were "correct" trading techniques. Truth is, I know of only one person in that room, who has not now lost all their money, trying his "methods". (Again thread, not trying to prove anything. Just trying to throw this in the pot of the thread.) The thread has added to my courage and strength. In fact, I now could not function without it. I do not watch any news source or read any paper or magazine. I focus ENTIRELY on detailed price actions, and the dialogues on this thread. I will do anything to help this thread. |
