Elmatador, Clark, Others ** Interesting that the last mile technology/arguments have focused only on the disputed Air Interface, while no one seems interested in the advances that Ericsson had made in Data Subscriber Line (DSL) products ---
Don't really understand why all discussions have to degenerate, into the ongoing disputes with Qcom. Frankly this has driven participants onto the Yahoo threads. (The Real Orange Peel, for instance)
Things of interest for anyone who cares are -- ANX-DSL, The AXI510 Edge Router which interfaces with a DSLAM platform and provides ATM over DSL.
Ericsson's project with Efficient Networks, Digital Pair Gain Systems, DSL Multimedia Access, etc .
All of this information is available on the Ericsson site, by doing a "search" on "DSL" .

Sorry, but all of this (narrowly focused arguing over CDMA vs GSM, etc.) is frustrating, to someone who really wants to understand this company, and determine if it should remain as part of a long term growth portfolio.
I welcome any constructive arguments, or criticism, regarding these matters. Regards, Mardy.
