Hi everyone:

"The Big One, PIONEERING - POOR"

Yes, until PNL has a Webtool that importers/exporters find compelling to subscribe, there is no pioneering yet.

"IMO, PNLK has the opportunity to make waves NOW and MAKE THE RULES."

I believe it may have to do with allocating valuable scarce resource. I believe PNL's management is waiting for V3 to complete and then proceed to make waves as you said. It makes sense. Like a revolver with only six bullets, you want to make every bullet count. Anyone who shoots prematurely and blindly will run out of bullet when the REAL PRIZE finally walks in front of you. It is now January, just three more months to April, I can wait until then for PNL to make WAVES. OK, let's say PNL better makes waves in April.

"IMO, they are misplaying their strong hand. They have the product, USE IT, PROMOTE IT, LEVERAGE IT and, as Nike says, JUST DO IT."

They have an OK product now. And it is only 3 months to V3. I will totally agree with your above statement in April 1999.

Too much money is wasted trying to get to "perfection". That will NEVER happen.

Yes, perfection will never happen. But at least, PNL needs to bring their Webtool to at least 70% to what importer/exporter wants. Afterward, they will have to continue to fine tune their Webtool to improve and maintain that percentage. Business models change as technology changes, all Webtool developers must maintain and keep up with this change or become obsolete.

" The opportunity to leverage PNLK's expertise in this Product Life Cycle is NOW. "

Can't you wait until April 1999???

I don't care (curently) about the price of the shares. I never mentioned that in my view. That will come later at the expense of competitors.

I am glad you support my view on this point also.

"Admittedly, I have not seen their offices. Big deal. A number of great looking offices belonged to some failed banks not so long ago. Appearances are deceiving."

Agree. But first impression is also very important to gaining new strategic alliance to come abroad. The location of the office and its 'great looking offices' help potential alliances feel, at least, comfortable to do their DD on PNL before joining. Yes, DD still has to be done. Failed banks were a by-product of bad decisions and naked exposure to the unpredictable economic environment, nice offices make customers feel comfortable about coming to the bank but play no part in the deceiving. Unless, of course, the intent of the 'nice offices' is to deceive; but, IMHO, this is NOT the case here.

"How do we, as investors (speculators) know that PNLK is doing 'OK'?"

Guess we won't know until the fat lady sings. I guess this is why we call it 'speculation'. Price is cheap now because nobody knows if PNLK is doing 'OK'.

"Hmmmmm...(puff, puff) Just my opine."

(puff, puff, COUGH, COUGH, COUGH) Sorry, I am not a smoker…

"PS I enjoy the discussions on PNLK and so I expect to get opposing views. This is what makes this board so good. (puff, puff)"

Ditto. Enjoy discussing with you.

Prosperity to ALL!
