found the boot target... Yep..its available during the boot process, not in Bios Setup. The SCSI adapter gets enabled in BIOS setup. Then the option to enter SCSI SelectUtility is presented during bootprocess and the different SCSI ID numbers can be arranged here to what you want to be seen first.

Gotcha. Then it is just like the add on host adapter. Once you enable the SCSI bios you get an option to enter the SCSI select by hitting 'Control A'? Hotdog!

Where did you get the AOpen AX6BPLUS? I found it at TCComputers for $195.

I screwed up. I do want SCSI and it is a lot cheaper and makes more sense to have it onboard considering the substantial savings.

I am not sure what I will end up doing yet..maybe put together two machines. I could swap out this IWILL super 7 mobo with 32 MB RAM and put in the ABIT and let the wife use it.

I have this ABIT BH6 mobo sitting in a box and a Maxtor 17.2 gig HDD and a SuperMicro 750 ATX case. I have not opened the boxes yet and do not know if the case is the new model. The website indicates the new model has a few changes. The new model does not have a removable mobo tray. I do not know if that is good or bad. I like the removable tray in my existing case.

I have to test the ABIT mobo and see if I am one of the lucky ones. I guess I will have a busy weekend.
