Because, Jesus Christ is nothing but a name and a historical character in your mind. Because, you have never been a real Christian but only a nominalChristian. And, because you really believe that you were once a Christian. You simply have no idea what true Christianity really is.
You have never known the reality of having fellowship with the Holy Spirit and God the Father through faith in Christ.
You pride yourself in your knowledge of the things of man. That pride has blinded you and made you a fool. Your pride and the philosophies of the world have darkened your rational and spiritual capacity to think and hear and understand the deeper things of true life.
