I sold my AOL too early by 'knowing too much', this time I will
think what will the masses use, not what I would use.
But I think users get saavy after time, and will not use AOL.
Just my opinion.

Sponge,

I decided to become active here now that I am long AOL. I have been obcessed with shorting AMZN for too long and closed the position. I am done with my introduction;-)

I dissagree with you statement at least based on the next five years. It is my opinion that non "geek" users are the new people that are coming onto the net. AOL has perfected an ease of use system so that the new users needs know nothing but how to click and run the application. I donate time in my local community to help the local ISPs with their new Mac customers. The ISPs have enough tech support for people with Windows, etc. My experience has shown that the majority of people buying the lower end computers now, are buying it for no other reason than to connect to the internet. I also know they have no clue how their computer works or how any form of networking works. Just about every OEM's computer comes configured with AOL software. AOL will grow just due to their ease of use. Content and other factors are not the main issue in my opinion. One may wish to discuss the merits of AOL's valuation but the success of the business is close to assured. Nothing isperfectly assured.

Glenn
