Hello, Peter,

This morning, I placed an order to sell COMS at 62 7/8.
The bid and ask prices that time were 62 7/8 and 63.
My order failed to got executed for about 5 minutes while
the bid and ask stood the same. Finally my order got timed
out.

I called Datek to complain about this. The first explanation
I got was that the price 62 7/8 was there only for 1 minute.
I double checked the intraday chart and rejected the explanation.
Then the explanation changed to that there were many orders
before mine and it took time to execute.

I used to have orders executed in 3-5 seconds. But now we are
talking about 3-5 minutes. I cannot accept this explanation.
I guess you cannot either. But what's wrong with your systems?
Can you offer an explanation? Thanks in advance.

John
