Thanks to David DeAngelis for starting this great thread.

Over on the Dragon Systems thread [DRGN], the initial post reports that Seagate Technology [SEG], which makes disc drives, owns about 38% of DRGN.

SEG has had a recent huge run-up, what with handily beating estimates last week. My questions: What's the likelihood of a significant further run-up as a result of the Dragon IPO? Can anyone confirm SEG's percentage of ownership of Dragon? How does this percentage of ownership and percentage of importance to SEG's business compare with that of MALL and DBCC in their recent spin-offs? Should we be buying SEG now that it's very close to its 52-week high?
