Most of the holders of Microsoft stocks are long term investors. With the total shares outstanding , Microsoft's average daily trading volume should be much higher than 15 MM shares. That is why , it is hard to beat down the stock. Besides, whenever there is a dip, there are always new investors jump into this stock , and its support is always strong.
