Poet/All: DIPL, PROG, VVTV (not tips yet--just asking questions!):

First of all, regarding <<Nope, no more lurking here!>> thanks very much. Your assistance with the Watley questions I had is much appreciated, too.

Regarding the three tickers mentioned above, does anyone have any comments/speculations on these? I hear very good things about all three but other than PROG, my DD is a little weak.

Here's what little I know:

DIPL -- Some people love this baby and fervently believe it's "waiting for a breakout." Apparently DIPL will sell clothing over the web.

VVTV -- 15% owner of NetRadio IPO, sells merchandise ala Home Shopping. This stock is often compared to SATH, but those who favor VVTV over SATH say that VVTV has powerful alliances coming up that will move it out front.

PROG -- Programmer's Paradise, selling software development tools on the web. Already profitable, P/E of 23. This one look solid to me but I don't see it mentioned on this thread. Currently at $14.75 it appears to be a no brainer to break $20 before, or soon after, their 1/29/99 earnings are released. A .30 EPS is expected. Folks on the PROG thread have difficulty finding "warts" on their baby and are just waiting.

None of these are a recommendation from me just yet. I am still doing research and this post is a part of it. Any help/feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris
