Bronco fan, you may be right---we could be developing into a nation of virtual shopkeepers (i.e. a service economy) much like Britain did after colonialism, where we manage global banks, expound ferociously to the world ala Thatcher, mill around and sell each other stuff (we barely need) and expand the cadres of govt. employees (I hesitate to call them "workers") 'til things get too top heavy and start to lean. But this will take a long time. Meanwhile enjoy the ride.
