National Media Coverage...

While doing my economics hw, the noon news here in Vancouver began talking about a new nasa-originated technology for reducing unnec. biopsies. Yes it was TMI they were referring to! The story originated (i'm sure) from the US, but our local station picked it up. If we got, you can be sure the rest of Canada got it, and so likely the US too. They interviewed a doctor at Sinai, as well as a patient, and demonstrated the technique. The machine is large, requiring a short step ladder to mount. The women lie face down on the table, where their breasts are exposed to blasts (?) of cold air. They even showed the resulting film. (means nothing to me, but still impressive). The key points stated were non-invasive, non-manipulative, and reduction of unnec. biopsies. I wish I could remember more, but my adrenalin was too much.

I'm surprised no one else has seen this. Or have you? This sounds like the kind of PR activity we've all been waiting for, now that the restrictions have been removed with fully reporting status.
