The following is an update comparing Friday's closing prices with the closing prices of 10/9/98, a period of 14 weeks. With this past weeks 4 percent gain on top of the 21 percent gain of the previous week, the overall performance of the group just becomes more impressive. There are only 13 stocks out of the group of 41 that have not gained 100 percent or more. 9 of the stocks are up 200 percent or more. The spread between the top entry in the table, ASYT, at 300 percent and the bottom entry in the table, SFLX, at 18 percent is huge. For the first 2 weeks of this new year, the upward momentum is very strong.
