Mark:

I defer to your explanation. My sister had a replacement ligament from a cadaver and it was several months of grueling therapy before she regained her full range of motion. That was about 3 years ago. Although she walks without difficulty, I wonder if she uses her injury as an excuse to avoid aerobic exercise. She's gained a lot of weight.

Cartilage is the stuff Carticel repairs, but there is some question whether the material grown outside the body will adhere to damaged, i.e., arthritic bone. That is why at present Carticel is not indicated to repair arthritic knees. Still there is a big group of generally younger adults with cartilage damage that would benefit from Carticel. At least that's what management keeps telling us.

But if they develop a arthroscopic procedure and one that would help arthritis sufferers, this stock will skyrocket. It might even make it all the way up to 4! Heck, maybe 4.5!

Go GENZL GO
