One other worm crawling out of the open can is IPv6. I wonder whether they'd even consider such upgrades at the present time, with IPv6 looming on the horizon (although it no 'done deal' by any stretch). The new equipment might have a short life (at least, relative to depreciation of the equipment on the books). I believe I read that both Cisco and Bay are currently in pilot testing of IPv6 routers. What's your take on how likely it is that IPv6 will be well on its way to widespread deployment in 3-5 years?
