Speaking of NT networking, perhaps you (or others) can help me with my current brain teaser.

I now have the 3 BH6/300a machines up and working great. All 3 are using 3com XL NICs into a fast hub, which is also connected to my DSL modem. Only weird problem is that while all 3 machines have unfettered access to the net via the hub (and hence must be wired properly) machine 3 cannot see 1 or 2 and vice versa, even though 1 and 2 can see each other just fine. Seems puzzling.

But Spots, your post may hold a clue. Machine 3 included a clone of a partition from machine 1, and perhaps I didn't rename everything correctly. I did rename the computer in network properties, but perhaps I neglected something else, or something didn't take.

Any ideas? Any info I could add to make this query clearer?

TIA,

Dave

PS if anyone wants to direct me to the definitive consensus or summary of the Spots/ZP/Clarence KOT-partition discussion, I'd be interested in checking it out. I've missed the bulk of the discussion, and may not be able to backtrack through all the back and forth.
