I want to be sure I'm clear about this: My case has specific raised points just for the MB connections. No other part touches the bottom. Wouldn't it be true that only if the top of the mound is too wide and touches circuitry that there would be a problem?

If this is potentially unsafe, I won't power up at all. How do I check this out specifically for my case (which I bought at my local vendor). I guess I could just ask them about how THEY install in that specific case...
