UPDATE from Horizon 01/14/99 Press Release: Currently, Horizon owns and operates 45 retail pharmacies in 13 states, 12 home medical equipment locations, five closed-door institutional pharmacies, five intravenous operations, two home healthcare agencies, and one wholesale operation. Horizon is currently ranked No. 38 in the Top 100 Drug Store Chains by Dollar Volume by Chain Drug Review.

Rick McCord, Pres. stated, "We will continue with a aggressive acquisition schedule for 1999. Each new acquisition strengthens our strategic plan for improved efficiencies and economies of scale."

They are presently negotiating the purchase of 4 more pharmacies. These should add about $12 million more in annual sales. They should pass the $100 million annual sales level by mid-year.
