Hello Frank. Very off topic, off topic.

Thursday evening I was firing up the cpt and was writing "Hello Frank" when the house was plunged into darkness. I guess you heard about our Ice storm in the Wash. area and our county was hit the hardest. Wow, I have never experienced anything like this. We spent 2 days and 2 nights without any heat or electricity. I was thinking about the early Pioneers but at least they did not have to put up with fallen Power lines. We were thinking about going to a hotel but did not feel like leaving the house unattended for fear of freezing pipes etc. But it was us that froze instead. Saturday evening we had enough, packed our overnight bags and went to stay with friends who finally got their electricity back. After playing cards until after midnight we called home and the recorder came on which meant: Electricity. So back home we went and got the house thawed out. I guess I got another nice cold out of all this. Standing in line for hours trying to get dry ice for the Frig. and Freezer. Our Power Co. provided it. But lots of homeowners were out of luck. I found out later there was not enough dry ice to go around.

It was an eery cpl of nights. One night there was absolute darkness in our area. No street lights, traffic lights, house lights - just total darkness everywhere. Lots of damage to my trees and the sound of fallen tree branches and trees everywhere. Things may not be back to normal until Tuesday.

Anyhow, at least I was able to listen to that wonderful Friday market action on a battery operated Radio and listened to it even in the evenings by candle light. I think I don't want to see candle lights for some time to come. gg.

Hm. I'd better send this post away. The lights are blinking.

I guess you all got lucky in Philadelphia.

I checked all my stocks. Not bad. I guess you are a happy camper again?

Sonny
