HP ! Reasons: 1. Enterprise NT Servers. Unisys' new line of NT Servers and their expertise in Enterprise Level computing will be a valuable addition to HP's growing presence in this segment of computing. 2. Unisys' strong position in the Financial Line of Business with their famous wide range of NT based document processing systems is the envy of many. HP has very little presence in this market from a standpoint of delivering mission critical applications. 3. HP's excellent network of VAR's and dealers will aid UIS tremendously. The synergies from line of business marketing for both companies is extremely compelling. 4. There is an existing relationship for re-selling low-end PCs and servers from HP into UIS accounts. This IMHO is the first trial at looking at how the two companies will work together as a single entity. 5. The lack luster performance of HP can use a boost from a turbo-charger called UIS ! Just my two cents.
