You should always be looking at the advance/decline line ..not for a specific sell signal but it may suggest to lighten up on your holdings..I mean if there are always more stocks declining than advancing..and that is the current trend, you can see that the odds are working against you and that your stops better be tight. There were significant divergences in June, July between the a/d line and the averages that got all the press.. It still isn't that great..
