Cirruslvr: Vantis is a basket case. They are are a complete non-factor in PLD and have produced nothing except losses and a dumping ground for AMD obsolete process equipment (allowing AMD to spread out the depreciation on some of their equipment and facilities). For this reason I would doubt that Vantis would be spun off. If AMD can get a dime for a Vantis spin-off its one dime more than its worth, IMHO their chances of survival on their own are exactly zero. -Ritz
