I have two sisters and a brother, one thing we like to do during holidays is look at family pictures together, hopefully with father or mother (divorced) and talk about what happened. I think by now most of my earlier memories are actually visual memories of those photos, or similar "cartoons" of stories that I tell, the story about my dad and the maid and the snapping turtle; the story about my dad and the maid and the alligator gar; the story about riding on my dad'd handlebars. Etc. Since my dad was the actor, there are no photos, but I still remember them the same way, with "snapshots."
