Very off topic: follow up to various posts.

The relationship with Scientific Atlanta(SFA) is still proving to be one of CCUR's best non product
accomplishments in the last two years. At first I was not too pleased with
the stock options granted to SFA because it will dilute earnings.
Now it appears to be the glue that holds our investment so valued.

A couple of years ago I saw a presentation that showed the major players and technologies
and their relationships to each other . It was a intertwined messy foil to say the least.

The following are two such examples of relationships between Scientific Atlanta.
This relates to CCUR in that SFA is aware of what's going on and they still want to play
with CCUR; ie the deal still matters.

Frontier (FRO) is the old Rochester NY telephone company in Bell Atlantic's back yard.
Only FRO is not old by any means.
The CEO is Joseph P. Clayton former Exec VP Thomson Consumer Electronics (RCA)

Even though I personally deplore Pointcast and its intranet bandwith hog
SFA has that covered as well. They know push technology.

There are three wires coming in my home. Telephone, Cable and Power.
SFA also makes a box found in many homes with or without their STB.
If there is a market for combining the Power and Cable boxes with appliances;
SFA has it covered. Those other start up companies with their latest STB's

And finally. There has been much talk and hype about CCUR spinning off the RT
business. I have concluded that they need to instead spin off the VOD business.
