Ritz and all: Anyone care to guess how much AMD may earn in
the coming qutarters and coming years?

Here is my estimate based on the downgrades/upgrades after AMD's
Jan. 13 earning crash:

AMD 1998 1999 2000

Mar -$0.39 $0.13e $0.17e
Jun -$0.45 $0.15e $0.21e
Sep $0.01 $0.17e $0.21e
Dec $0.15 $0.19e $0.21e

Year -$0.68 $0.64e $0.80e
Yr./Yr. -340.0% n/a 25%

Historical P/E Range:
High n/a n/a
Low n/a n/a

It seems that AMD is crashing below $20 if not high teens after
a dead cat bounce in the early part of next week.

The technical side of the story is no better than AMD's
fundamentals, here is TA analysis from Second Opinion:

Second Opinion - AMD
01/19/99

COMMENT

BEARISH TREND
- Chart pattern indicates a POSSIBLE TREND REVERSAL
- Relative Strength is BEARISH
- Up/Down volume pattern indicates that the stock is under
DISTRIBUTION
- The 50 day MOVING AVERAGE is falling which is BEARISH
- The 200 day MOVING AVERAGE is falling which is BEARISH

RECOMMENDATION

- STOCK SHOWS STRONGLY DETERIORATING CONDITIONS SCORE = -4
- IF YOU ARE LONG, CLOSE POSITION OR MONITOR STOCK CLOSELY
- STOCK IS NOT A SHORT SALE CANDIDATE
