Just a thought : Last year I fought a losing battle with some of the professional shorts but that was essentially because they made a good call on a stock and I made a bad one but regardless of that it was very educational in seeing how they can take over these threads and see many of the tricks that they pull in order to take down a stock.

If they do hold a large position in IOM and if IOM is coming out with a great earnings report as I both suspect and hope then I would not be surprised to see them post scare articles in either Barrons or Forbes this week prior to earnings in order to try and cover their positions at current share prices. I would also not be surprised to see several of them coming to the thread trying to disrupt everything here as well. I have also noticed that they like to slam the bid at the very end of the day in order to try and paint the tape. This helps to keep day traders out of the stock.

Bottom line is, IMHO, if we see a rising stock price or additional brokerage upgrades/coverage going into earnings on Thursday then I will expect a VERY VERY fun week following the earnings report.
